The client, based in Calne, approached us with the goal of reducing their long-term electricity bills and improving energy independence. With rising energy prices and a desire to adopt more sustainable energy practices, they were looking for a solar and battery solution that would deliver reliable performance and cost savings.

Our Solution
Following a full site survey and energy usage analysis, we designed and installed a custom solar and battery storage system tailored to the client’s needs. The system included:

• 1x GivEnergy 10kW Single Phase Hybrid Inverter – This powerful inverter allows the system to intelligently switch between solar, battery, and grid usage for maximum efficiency.
• 28x 450W Solar Panels – Providing a total of 12.6kW of renewable generation capacity, these high-efficiency panels capture energy from the sun throughout the day.
• 1x GivEnergy HV Stackable Battery Pack (20.4kWh Storage) – This advanced battery storage system allows the client to store excess solar energy generated during the day and use it in the evening or during peak demand.

Results
The installation has provided the client with a number of key benefits:

Premier Renewables Wiltshire executed a professional installation of a Give Energy 3.6kWh inverter and a 5.6kWh Give Energy battery, enhancing the property's energy efficiency. The installation began with mounting the inverter, which converts the solar panel-generated DC power into AC power for household use. The 5.6kWh battery was installed to store surplus energy, ensuring a reliable power supply during low generation periods.

To protect the controlling components from environmental factors, an IP-rated (Ingress Protection) enclosure was provided. This weatherproof enclosure shields the sensitive equipment from dust and moisture, ensuring long-term durability and performance. The team meticulously connected all components, integrating the inverter and battery seamlessly with the existing solar power system.
